Project Overview
This project involves the exploration and application of Texas Instruments’ (TI) mmWave radar sensors, which are single-chip devices capable of measuring the range, velocity, and angle of objects. Unlike cameras, mmWave sensors function in all lighting conditions, ensure privacy, consume less power, and reduce overall system costs, making them ideal for various applications, especially in green technologies.
The project will focus on developing machine learning models that can detect different human postures using the radar sensors. The models will be trained using data collected from the sensors and will be deployed on the sensors themselves. The project will also involve creating a visualiser to enable the viewing of collected radar data immediately.
