GitHub Copilot

GitHub Copilot is a code completion AI tool that helps developers write code faster and with fewer errors. We will be using the VSCode and IntelliJ/PyCharm plugins for this tool. The model is trained on open-source code. We won’t be using it to generate any large sections of code in order to prevent plagiarism/copyright infringement. We will only use it to generate small code snippets and to help us write code faster.

ChatGPT (and other similar LLMs)

ChatGPT is a conversational AI tool that can be used to generate both text and code. We will be using it to aid in debugging our programs and as a tool to help us with research for our project. We will not be using it to generate any large sections of code in order to prevent plagiarism/copyright infringement.

JetBrains IDE AI features

JetBrains IDEs have a number of AI features that can help developers write code faster and with fewer errors. We will be using these features to help us write code faster and to catch errors before they become a problem. These features won’t be used to generate any large sections of code in order to prevent plagiarism/copyright infringement.
